Checking E-mails for Writing Problems
If you are interested in polishing your e-mail messages to avoid or remove writing errors and problems,
(1) compose your messages in a word processor, (2) use the word processor’s spelling and grammar checkers,
(3) use a copyediting and proofreading program such as Editor, and (4) save the corrected messages
as text files (text only or .txt). Then copy and paste the text files into your e-mails.
To save a step, some word processors, like Word, will send texts directly as e-mails if that function is enabled.
